At StickyCoding, we believe that your code, configuration, and data are yours alone. Our utility platform is designed from the ground up to operate 100% client-side. All formatting, converting, encoding, and parsing actions happen entirely within your local web browser using JavaScript. No tool inputs, outputs, or pasted materials are ever transmitted to external servers, logged, or cached by us.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

When you use our tools (such as the JSON Formatter, Base64 Converter, or UUID Generator), we do not collect:

Any text, files, credentials, tokens, or scripts you paste into the tools.
IP addresses or request payloads (since there is no backend server handling inputs).
Personal identifying information.

3. Local Browser Storage

We use your browser's local storage (localStorage) to save state and configurations locally for your convenience. This includes:

Your preferences (e.g., sort keys checkbox, indentation selections).
Pass validation details (e.g., active pass type and expiration timestamp) to bypass the free tier rate limits.

You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings, though doing so will remove active pass credentials from your local environment.

4. Payments & Third-Party Processors

To support the maintenance and hosting of StickyCoding, we offer Day, Month, and Lifetime Passes. Transactions are processed securely through our payment provider, Ko-fi (powered by Stripe and PayPal). We do not collect or store your payment details, credit card numbers, or transaction credentials. Ko-fi handles checkout compliance in accordance with their own privacy guidelines.

5. Analytics

We use anonymous page-view analytics to monitor traffic trends and optimize performance. These tools do not record personal details or associate activities with individual users.

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect modifications to our site. Updates will be posted on this page with the modified effective date.
